DAP's analysis on the Iskandar Development Region

Check out Tony Pua's blog. He has just posted up an analysis of the much trumpeted Johor Iskandar Development Region (IDR) which has been hyped up as Pak Lah's baby and signature mark on the country (if history records it as such lah!). The analysis is done in his capacity as the economic advisor to DAP's Secretary General. Check it out here.

For too long people have been saying the opposition lacks the means to come up with coherent and intelligent economic analysis and policies. Well they are indeed trying (the BA actually have produced a Shadow Budget for the last few years since 2000 if I am not mistaken) and I, for one, see them as moving on the right track.
